“Migrants and refugees are not pawns on the chessboard of humanity. They are children, women, and men who share a legitimate desire for knowing and having, but above all for being more.

- Pope Francis

During the Easter Season, St. Leo is offering a JustFaith series called Exploring Immigration: A Journey of Faith. How can we welcome the stranger in these times? This 6-week program gives us the opportunity to explore some of the central questions of refugees and immigrants in the US and around the world, rooted in the eyes of faith. Sessions are organized around 3 main themes:

  • History and facts surrounding migration
  • Catholic Social Teaching on migration
  • Discernment & Action addressing the challenges of migration

The series begins on May 8th and goes for 6 weeks. It is offered on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 pm or Thursday mornings from 10 am to Noon. Donation for books and materials $20 – scholarships available! Sign up here!
