Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults ("RCIA") is the process through which adults who are not Catholic may inquire about the Catholic faith and, if desired, become a member of the Catholic Church. The group meets weekly on Wednesday evenings from mid-September through Pentecost.
Baptisms take place at the Easter Vigil. Baptized folks are received into the Church throughout the year.
Volunteers are needed to welcome, support and sponsor catechumens on their journey toward initiation. This ministry also needs catechists and dismissal leaders to lead discussions on Sunday mornings.
